Club History Time line


2011

Sunday side win the 2nd division of the Thameside League.
1st team finish midtable in Division Three of The Surrey Cricket League.

2010

Sunday side narrowly miss out on winning the 2nd division of the Thameside League.
1st team finish midtable in Division Three of The Surrey Cricket League.

2009

Club implement name change to Wimbledon Corinthians Cricket Club, finally breaking ties with the Morden name as the club no longer play in the area.

2008

1st XI leave Wey Valley League and join Surrey’s AJ League Division 2.
2nd XI enter Wey Valley Combined League.
Club 10-Year Anniversary.

2007
1st XI enter Wey Valley League Division 2 and win the league, finishing undefeated.
1st XI win Wey Valley League Cup beating Kennington by 7 wickets.
Runners-Up in Twenty20 Godstone Competition.

2006
Club creates a third Saturday XI after membership grows.

2005
MCCC creates a second Saturday XI after membership grows.

2004
Club re-located its home fixtures back to the London Borough of Merton with the majority of fixtures played at Raynes Park Sports Ground, Taunton Avenue.

2000
Ex-Robin Hood Cricket players join MCCC after their club fold to create the MCCC Sunday team.

1998
First season as Morden Corinthians Cricket Club (MCCC).

1997
Last season as Morden Cricket Club’s 3rd Team before going independent.
